Dreams
What does my dream mean?
Write the dream down the way you remember it. Genie picks out the symbols, reads them against what is going on in your life, and keeps them, so a house that keeps turning up does not go unnoticed.
What it looks like
ExampleI was back in my grandmother's house but the rooms kept changing. Water was coming in under the door and I was lost looking for the stairs.
Symbols found
- Water
- Being lost
- A house
On its own this is a scene, not a message. A reading would ask what the week held first: water coming in under a door reads differently after a hard conversation than after a move.
If the house turns up in a later dream, Genie counts it as recurring and tells you. One dream is never a pattern.
An example dream. The symbols shown are what the app's real extractor finds in this text.
What is different here
- Symbols are pulled from your own words, in English or Spanish, and shown to you before anything is read into them.
- A symbol only counts as recurring once it has actually appeared in more than one of your dreams.
- No dream dictionary. The same water means something different in a week of arguments than in a week of travel.

Questions
Do dreams have fixed meanings?
Not here. There is no dictionary entry for water. The reading looks at the symbol together with what you have told Genie about your life that week.
What if I only remember a fragment?
Write the fragment. A single image is enough to read, and a short entry still counts toward the symbols Genie keeps for you.
Can a dream predict something?
Genie does not treat dreams as predictions. Dream readings are for entertainment and self-reflection, a way to think about what has been on your mind.
